Big Sea Games to Shut Down

by Lure on July 28, 2010

From Big Fish Games’ official announcement:

We know it’s been awhile since you last heard from us, but we didn’t want to post any updates until we were certain of the direction we were going to take. Anything less would have been unfair to you as a community.

At this time, we are announcing that – beginning September 1, 2010 – the Big Sea Games service will be discontinued and no longer available.
Big Sea Games has been special to everyone who had a part in it – from the game development team to the design team to the community that played such an important role in creating the overall experience.

Moving forward, our team will shift focus to other areas of the business, applying what we’ve learned to create new game offerings.

We want to thank you for the passion and support you’ve shown Big Sea Games over the past year. We are grateful for your commitment and involvement as we continue to grow and evolve.

I am still processing this information, but I wanted to make sure the news got top billing on the site here for you guys. I’ll add my thoughts here when I have taken some time to think. I will tell you this: this site isn’t going anywhere. I’ll continue to maintain an archive of BSG information, continue to provide hints/tips/etc for Treasure Quest on Facebook, and hopefully find some way to keep the community of BSG players together even though our original home is going away.

More soon. –Lure :(

I miss the chance to chat while playing Treasure Quest games. Any chance this will be added in the near future. Since Big Sea games is shutting down we have no personal contact with other fans of the games

2 phaleytbaby13 July 28, 2010 at 11:06 pm

I am in total shock. Why is bigsea closing? I personally will be lost without the different gms and team bingo leagues. Rumors say because of facebook. I play 2 bingo gms in facebook and that’s to do daily games to use up daikly credits. once they used you have to wait until next day to play more. I have been with Big sea very long time. One site we’ve been able to count on. Please don’t quit on us. We need you.

3 tcfox July 28, 2010 at 11:44 pm

Oh crap Lure, this is sooooo disheartening. Whatever am I going to do without my daily dose of Mel? Can’t say as the writing hasn’t been on the wall for quite some time, but I am really really really sad about this.

As always hon, you’re a peach – I’m looking forward to reading more of your thoughts on this – keep us posted :(

4 kayla124 July 29, 2010 at 12:47 am

Lure, I read on face book today that Big Sea was closing Treasure Quest also. I do hope the think of something or that Big Fish takes it back and revamps the games so many of us have had the same friends for many , many yrs and we meet here, play here and will be difficult to find another place.
Hope to hear some thing good come out of this

5 Jennifer July 29, 2010 at 2:38 am

I can’t even explain how I feel about this! ):

I literally JUST got my account back after losing it for nine months. Now I only have a month to enjoy the site and then it will just be… gone?

I don’t think I -know- how to feel about this. I just can’t believe it! Big Sea Games seems awfully popular to me, why would they just up and get rid of the site??

6 Ivy July 29, 2010 at 3:38 am

Sad news indeed…

7 tony July 29, 2010 at 7:47 am

iv been a member since 2003 nick is kingofgames27 i cant say i did not see this coming with no updates and most game rooms down like the bingo rooms they turn to facebook where they can have games and ads to pay for the games.i think bigsea goofed when they went no ads i payed for bigfish.i remember ionthunder it was fun then just like the old pogo site b4 they started club is there any other game sites that are free just like bigsea.ty have a good day

8 Lure (bigfishgamer_com) July 29, 2010 at 8:22 am

kayla124: could you tell me where on Facebook you read that Treasure Quest is closing too? Was it an official Big Sea or Big Fish Games page? If not, it’s probably just a rumor.

I tend not to believe they’d close TQ this early. I’ve been wrong before, though. I guess we’ll see.

Where’s Charlie in all of this mess? All I can think about is how chaffed he’s gotta be in all of this. I didn’t see any comments from him in the first few pages of the official announcement and not a peep here? *prods Charlie* Come out, come out, wherever you are!

9 Kim July 29, 2010 at 9:11 am

Thank you so much for this website. You have done wonderful job maintaining it. I’m not surprised about this decision of Big Sea Games.

10 Scoobeeyzz July 29, 2010 at 9:31 am

~~OMG~~

WHAT WILL HAPPEN 2 MY POINTS AND RANKS?

Will Big Fish take back this site?

OMG :( :( :(

11 Fritzi41 July 29, 2010 at 9:59 am

I like the rest can not believe it. I have soooo many friends on BSG, this is just so sad. What are they going to do? I play Treasure Quest too but it’s just not the same without chat friends.
Will this site still be available to keep us updated as to what they are doing?

12 PAM July 29, 2010 at 10:14 am

THIS IS SO UNCALLED FOR DO U KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE DEPEND ON THIS SITE JUST TO UNWIND WHAT A HEART LESS GROPU THAT RUNS THIS SITE

13 Lure (bigfishgamer_com) July 29, 2010 at 11:01 am

Fritzi41: yes this site will be available and I’ll update on TQ and whatever casual social sites and/or games that Big Fish is producing that I find interesting.

PAM: just making it clear: this is a fan site, run by fans just like you. Well, *a* fan, but there were a lot of folks helping me out. Maybe your complaints are best taken to Big Fish Games? They’re the ones who shut down Big Sea, not this fan site.

Scoobeeyzz: all of your ranks and points will be gone. *poof* The site won’t exist anymore. Big Fish won’t “take back” the site because they were the ones who developed it, abandoned it, and will shut it down. Big Fish was the parent company of Big Sea Games more or less.

14 cchrst1953 July 29, 2010 at 11:26 am

lure what im concern about is all the games i bought is that site going down too???

15 cchrst1953 July 29, 2010 at 11:27 am

and also im very sad this is going down been here since ionthunder

16 Lure (bigfishgamer_com) July 29, 2010 at 11:29 am

cchrst1953: the games you bought were from Big Fish Games, which isn’t shutting down.

Maybe I can clarify for those who aren’t familiar with the hierarchy. Big Fish Games is a pretty big company with a web site that sells downloadable casual games. They created an online game site called Big Sea Games. They also created a Facebook application called Treasure Quest (among other things). Big Fish Games has decided to shut down Big Sea Games.

18 Evil Queen July 29, 2010 at 12:35 pm

I’m sad to hear this. Aside from Pogo this is one I go to everyday. I wonder the reasoning behind it? They seemed to have alot of people playing it but never took it out of beta. I am not a facebook fan to put it nicely so never touched that part and never will even if its kept. I wonder what the “applying what we’ve learned to create new game offerings” means. Won’t read much into though cause it could mean nothing knowing how gaming sites can be. Still this is sad that this is happening.

19 seagullnb July 29, 2010 at 1:30 pm

To the staff of bigseafans.com. It would be wonderful if you added a forum here where those of us who played in big sea can still maintain contact with each other

20 Lure (bigfishgamer_com) July 29, 2010 at 1:34 pm

seagullnb: great idea. That’s exactly what I hinted at in my post up there. I’m still figuring things out on my end, but I hope to have a definitive plan this evening. I’ll make a post here and probably update the BSG forums too. :)

21 Jennifer July 29, 2010 at 2:00 pm

Oh! I would absolutely love a forum! Though I really lost contact with any of my BSG friends when I lost my account, it would still be nice to be able to talk to those that like the same games I do. Maybe we can even find other websites with similar games (though, in my opinion, none exist)?

22 itsme07 July 29, 2010 at 2:01 pm

Nice idea about being able to stay connected.

As to Charlie-OMG he is on vacation!
You and Charlie were the first I thought of yesterday.

I am missing his comments :-)

Have a Great One!

23 sierra July 29, 2010 at 2:55 pm

the site is closing and not coming back. paul has made that very clear. all of us are going through the 5 stages of grief right now. and rightly so as we are losing someone/something we dearly love. many of us have lost faith in the company as a whole, i include myself in that. the lies and abandonment are unforgivable. at this time i am unable to get into the forums. the page is being directed in a way that it is impossible to load is what the error message says. i hope it is back up before charlie gets back.

24 Angela Major July 29, 2010 at 5:06 pm

Will I lose all the games that I have downloaded from this site? I love my games and would be defistated if I lost them. Please do all you can to save them.

Thanks

25 Lure July 29, 2010 at 5:46 pm

Angela: this is one of the biggest problems with Big Fish’s management of Big Sea Games — they never did enough to differentiate their sites. Big Sea Games shutting down has nothing to do with your paid/downloaded games from Big Fish Games.

26 suzie4344 July 29, 2010 at 7:22 pm

what the heck i am a paying member whats going to happen to my mebership

27 Lure July 29, 2010 at 7:37 pm

Okay guys, this is a really rough start, but it’s coming along.

http://www.bigseafans.com/community

Feel free to sign up and get started. I am learning as we go along, so bear with me as I get the look and feel and categories of the forum worked out. I will probably need a moderator or two to step up to help maintain the site, but I can wait for people to get the hang of things first.

Please leave your suggestions in the suggestion box!

28 koalabear241 July 29, 2010 at 8:20 pm

very hard information to swallow. I will miss playing the different unique games on this site. I joined when it was ion thunder and enjoyed the friendly relaxed atomsphere of all the folks. I don’t play the facebook games as they are just not the same. Guess i will have to find somewhere else to unwind after a day with unruly folks.

29 solgrl11 July 29, 2010 at 11:46 pm

WE ARE SO SAD TO SEE YOU ALL LEAVE US.. HOPEFULLY YOU WILL LET US ALL KNOW WHEN YOU COME UP WITH SOMETHING ELSE..
YOU ARE THE ONLY SITE I LIKE TO PLAY GAMES ON..ESPICALLY DUECES WILD..NO OTHER SITE HAS IT LIKE YOU GUYS DO..
PLEASE KEEP US INFORMED.
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE YEARS OF INJOYMENT.

WHAT!!??!!?? Farm 52 is my favorite game ever! Will they have any way to play?? Why did they make all the changes and bring up BigSea games, only to cancel the whole thing? I know they are just silly games but I have met some of the nicest people on that site!

:-( :-( :-(

31 Lure July 30, 2010 at 9:09 am

AMM: Farm 52 was one of my favorites too. :( Someone else asked on the official forums and the (new?) moderator Solice answered:

Unfortunately we do not have plans to move this game to another venue at this time. If that changes I will be sure to let you know.

I’ll keep my eye on her posts to see if she comes up with any more info.

Also of note:

They’ve adjusted the jackpots on the site. As Solice said, “They are now set to ‘WOWSERS!’” so if you ever wanted to go out with a bang, now’s the time to do it.

32 Countrygirlheart July 30, 2010 at 9:11 am

I’m just shocked….it’s like losing someone or something special. Should have seen it coming though, when they didn’t respond to emails, etc. They had no intention by the looks of it to ever keep this site going. They were probably hoping that with all the problems we would all slowly leave the site. Unfortunetly they didn’t realize what a faithful bunch we were. To bad they weren’t just as faithful to us.

33 CharlesRambler July 30, 2010 at 9:50 am

Thanks for the forum. Looks good.

34 Joyce A. Licata July 30, 2010 at 10:27 am

What happens to the games I purchased? Will they still be available to me?

35 Lure July 30, 2010 at 10:32 am

Read posts #16 and #25 above. I will not be approving any further comments about downloadable games purchased from BigFishGames.com.

36 _Meliza_ July 30, 2010 at 1:30 pm

I wanna cry!! OMG I’m in shock

RIP Farm 52

snif snif….

37 Countrygirlheart July 30, 2010 at 2:31 pm

I was browsing around BigSea and came across this piece from BigSea when it first started. What happened to what they say? why are they closing the site with all that was promised? Take a read please and ty…

38 Cindy4764 July 30, 2010 at 2:50 pm

Wow, how sad! I’m relatively new to BigSeaGames (a year) and actually found it through Lure’s Pogo BadgeHungry site. I have really enjoyed BSG during that time and split my gaming between Pogo and BSG. I’m not a huge fan of Facebook but have been playing Treasure Quest there as well as still playing at the BSG site and if they keep TQ going I guess it’s better than nothing.

Lure, thanks very much for starting up a Forum and for keeping us updated with info.

39 Ayla July 30, 2010 at 7:32 pm

Nooooooooooooooo! No more Farm52? No more Unwell mel? No more Fairway Solitaire? And all the other fantastic games?

All those other boring gamesites out there have exactly the same boring games, and now the only site who is different and much more fun is going to pull the plug?

Can anyone please knock some sense into these guys? If this is all about the no-ads things then they should have thought about that before planning it that way. And its not to late to add ads if that can save the site? Is it?

I’m absolutely aghast at this move! I sincereley hope that I can read better news next time I come here!!!!!

40 Indy/Cindy July 30, 2010 at 8:05 pm

Well wouldn’t ya just know…..I waited and waited and finally not too many months ago made it into the Big Sea game site and now this. It sure was fun while it lasted. In that short period of time I had a blast going into the games that were “new” to me and so much fun.

I am so very sorry for all of you that played for so long. Cripes anyway.

Thanks so much Lure for recommending the Big Sea site to me originally. I sure appreciated it and I have enjoyed every minute I spent there, even if it wasn’t very long. (Big Sigh)

41 Lure July 30, 2010 at 8:26 pm

Indy: I requested some recommendations for Hidden Object Games. Isn’t that your area of expertise? :)

44 Donna July 31, 2010 at 2:07 pm

i am just really mad that this site is closing. i have made a great many friends here. and now i won’t be able to get in touch with them. we are not only loosing our friends but points also. and they don’t have all the games we play here like bingo. this really sucks, please give us an honest reason for shutting this site down. you have reall disappointed alot of people.

45 zeres2 July 31, 2010 at 3:45 pm

I will really miss big sea games. DOES ANY ONE KNOW ANY OTHER FREE GAME SITES TO PLAY ON IF SO LET US KNOW. THANK YOU

46 Lure July 31, 2010 at 7:56 pm

Donna: as I told PAM in my comment #13, this is just a fan site, we have nothing to do with the management at Big Sea Games/Big Fish Games. You may want to read what I told her.

zeres2: we’re discussing that here:

http://www.bigseafans.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11

I’d love for you to try a few and let us know what you find and what you think. :)

47 dodgegirl_2 August 2, 2010 at 9:37 am

I’ve been playing on your game site since it was Ion Thunder, and hate the fact that you are shutting us down. I’ve met so many nice people in here. I hate FaceBook to many hackers on that site. And Pogo is not the same. I sure hope u reconceder keeping this up and running it would mean so much to alot of folks that play in here.

48 _Meliza_ August 2, 2010 at 9:45 am

Ok so if they don’t have plans to move Farm 52 maybe we could write to the developers and ask them if they could offer it as a downloadable game on the BF site. I know I would be willing to buy it.

49 joyce August 2, 2010 at 4:35 pm

What will i do without my fix of big sea games? Many enjoyable hours spent in front of my keyboard, thank you for that. The free games are entertaining and fun and will miss them. i dont use facebook etc so what now? What will happen about games we have paid for?, anyone know?

50 kiki August 3, 2010 at 3:51 pm

I just want to say that I was finally approved for BSG less than one month ago. Oh Em Gee, what bittersweetness! I’m convinced had they approved me sooner, they wouldn’t closing their doors. ;)

51 ceacu August 5, 2010 at 3:21 am

hello, people!really, can not do but as you may not remember me anything for that? I can’t believe!

52 Beth August 5, 2010 at 10:56 am

I’m in total shock that BSG’s is shutting down :(. I now will have to actually clean around the house instead of getting my fix of games first thing in the morning. I looked forward to sitting down with my cup of coffee and playing a few games. My mornings just won’t be the same anymore.
Thanks for making the community page, I’ll look thru some of the sites suggested and see if there are any on there that I’d like to go to.

53 p kroll August 6, 2010 at 2:53 pm

for 7 long years i have been playing.you people don’t care about player that are shut ins. you could care less . sell it back too somrone who cares.this is a lot of bulll no reasons given just shut down n the heck with players

54 MaryAnn Chaffin August 6, 2010 at 4:31 pm

I would be willing to pay to play on this site. I don’t like pogo anymore. You can not contact them and pinochle freezes all the time. I will truly miss the site and the games. I have been playing for several years and it is my daily routine.

55 Lure August 6, 2010 at 4:44 pm

Just mentioning it again: this site is not Big Sea Games, nor Big Fish Games. We’re just a bunch of fans of Big Sea Games and trust me, we’re just as upset as you are that Big Sea Games is closing, perhaps moreso.

If you would like to express your opinion to “the powers that be”, feel free to do so on Big Sea Games’s web site:

http://forums.bigseagames.com/posts/list/5675.page

They used to check here to get a sense of the community vibe, but since the site is shutting down, they are unlikely to care anymore. Complaints directed at Big Sea and Big Fish fall on deaf ears here, and frankly it just ends up adding to my frustration…not to mention what it says about reading comprehension and situational awareness.

56 charlie August 11, 2010 at 4:16 pm

Hadn’t read any of this before and see this post

Lure (bigfishgamer_com) July 29, 2010 at 8:22 am
kayla124: could you tell me where on Facebook you read that Treasure Quest is closing too? Was it an official Big Sea or Big Fish Games page? If not, it’s probably just a rumor.

I tend not to believe they’d close TQ this early. I’ve been wrong before, though. I guess we’ll see.

Where’s Charlie in all of this mess? All I can think about is how chaffed he’s gotta be in all of this. I didn’t see any comments from him in the first few pages of the official announcement and not a peep here? *prods Charlie* Come out, come out, wherever you are!

I’m here Lure and on your community site – I was on holiday when this all blew up – came back online on Monday and its now Wednesday and Ive managed to pick up a forum ban and then a total ban!

Feel free to find my posts over on Big Sea to see exactly what i think of what they have done – I cant look at them anymore to copy them anywhere!

57 achy August 12, 2010 at 10:47 am

why not sell it back to ion thunder be glad to pay just to keep this site going. i really do not intend to go to face book. don’t like it. i talk to a lot of player they would be happy to pay.keep it going no other site like this one. am sure u can get a buyer

58 kdnanna August 13, 2010 at 7:51 am

I just can’t stand the thought of this site shutting down. It is so sad to know you will lose contact with friends you have met, but most of all I will miss the great games. I would be willing to pay an annual fee to keep it going. I went to FB treasure chest to try to play Riddle and it always takes me to the game ‘Mush’ which I don’t like. I wish ion thunder would get it back..it was so nice then.

59 nvannie August 14, 2010 at 4:04 pm

please keep big fish going its been a fun game site. very sad t0 see it shutting down. lets hope it will come back with all the games we had before. ion thunder was nice, sure wish it would come back.

60 kyrunnerb August 17, 2010 at 2:29 am

you people are heartless and very greeded all you had to do is charge us so much a yr to keep the people happy here just like they do in pogo so much a yr. i will not play in facebook and make that sight a better place then the one you had here. we all made lots of friends and it was bad enough you didnt let us no which room to find them in you people need to get your head screwed on the right track the idea here is to please the people or players to make it pleasnt for folks to relax and have fun so im closeing with thanks for nothing good luck with your new bull cant wait to hear what you do to that sight

61 barbara August 18, 2010 at 10:57 am

iam so dissipointed i play these games all the time now what are we supposed to do its not fair that they are leaving us high and dry i really hope they can figure out away to keep them on

62 Psyllerie August 19, 2010 at 2:05 am

I am at a loss for words. I was not able to make many friends, but Big Sea Games provided the stress relief I needed being a full time caretaker of a parent. I am very sad. It was getting boring but it gave me just what I really needed—” A Break ” from my overwhelming responsibilities.
Oh well, there little I can do to keep the site. I will have to find something else to relieve my stress.

63 Alison August 22, 2010 at 4:01 am

I too will miss Big Sea Games. I play all my favourites when I first get up. Now all I have to look forward to is the radio and housework- sigh!

64 Leeann August 23, 2010 at 12:23 am

I really don’t think it is the least bit fair, I started out in Ion Thunder just to have my points switched to Big Fish and then was switch from Big Fish to Big Seas. Where’s the justice in this.

65 Karenbeth Jackson August 23, 2010 at 8:07 am

I have enjoyed Big Fish for a year. I now enjoy Treasure Quest (a game site on Facebook.) I wish they would bring back “Diana Fortune; lost Temple of Gold”. We can’t chat yet on Facebook but most of the fun games are there. Will be interesting to see how all works out. Just Remember “Treasure Quest = Big Sea” plus more.

Hope to see yall over there.

66 Kim August 24, 2010 at 1:06 pm

I loved this website . I played these games every day. I feel like I am loosing an old friend. It seems like every time I find a good game site something happens to it and its gone. I am so sad to loose this site. I will miss it and everyone in the game rooms. :(

67 Joy Blundell August 24, 2010 at 7:54 pm

I’ve been around for quite some time…the Ion Thunder days, and sure enjoyed the growth this site has taken. Am sure going to miss all the fun games. Was hoping that they would continue to grow. Oh well, such is life. It seems all the good things in life take a turn for the worse.

68 Helga1958 August 26, 2010 at 1:39 pm

On the one hand I am sad to lose the best game site on the internet. On the other hand I will have alot more timeon my hands.

69 tigress August 26, 2010 at 6:05 pm

Treasure Quest is unavailable right now – says the site is updating…does that mean what I hope it doesn’t mean..? I LOVE TQ…

70 Lure August 26, 2010 at 6:49 pm

tigress: It means the site is updating. :) In all seriousness, nothing to worry about. Totally normal.

71 Star7 August 28, 2010 at 1:40 am

72 ceacu August 28, 2010 at 7:17 am

hello!
I made a petition to the BF and I wish that those who think like me that site should not be closed, I ask them to sign this petition.
It is found on forum
http://forums.bigseagames.com/posts/list/5781.page

73 tigress August 28, 2010 at 12:08 pm

It worked fairly shortly after that, Lure – thank you…I love TQ!

74 rob August 29, 2010 at 7:40 am

If you go to facebook and get a sign-in, you can go to TREASURE QUEST and play most of the same BigSea games. They give gold coins and tokens and the games play much better than the insipid BigSea site which pathetically closes for good in a few days. good riddance BigSea!

75 anne August 29, 2010 at 10:16 pm

I had to take a hiatus on playing on the site due to a busy school semester, and I was just starting to get the hang of Farm 52 again, and then I heard about this on the chat room while I was playing this morning. I’m quite furious. It took me forever to get that far in the game, and now the site is shutting down? I feel cheated.

Well, at least I’ll have one less distraction in the way of my college coursework… but still. I’m furious about the site being shut down.

76 ceacu August 30, 2010 at 2:56 am

Dear Rob,
Your opinions is your opinions and I respect them. But, for me facebook is the best pathetically site, ever! It is my belief and for that I don’t go on FB, and I will very gladly when FB will be closed. And this controversy will not ever get…..so if we want to express our regrets that this site will be closed and we try to do something that it was not close, please let us do it! And if you think with us, please sign the petition to the forum, and if you disagree with us, don’t sign petition!

I will definitely be in mourning for my unwell mel, fairway solitaire and team bingo, I need my fix of these games to keep me smiling. I will also miss all the lovely people I have met over the years, from all over the world, what a great community we are. Very sad to see the site close, goodbye and good luck to all of you.

I have been playing big sea games for many years. My favorites have been riddle o day and lobe. I have looked forward to playing these 2 games every day. Although, I do belong to big fish games, they do not have these 2 particular games. Is there any chance that you will once again be a game site? I will watch for you to come back in the near future. I will miss the chats and the games.

It is a total shame you are shutting down a wonderful fun site for all. You just started bigsea and now this news. Shame on you!If you have a heart, please return it. We all can not afford your game prices.

Hi, all, was distressed to hear BSG had shut down. I had no idea this was happening. Just played on Tuesday and all was fine. The worst part of all of this is I like others have been here since ION Thunder, hence all of my points are gone! Am a Facebook member, albeit not a great one. Just got finished playing “snowglobe” there, it went well. Probably will not play as often as I used to but it’s worth a look. I agree with others that I have lost a lot of friends, but have exchanged emails so we do keep in touch. As far as Big Fish is concerned, hope they lose everything, hook, line and sinker with any luck, “jaws” will sink them!

Thanks to all of the great people I met in BSG, GL to all of you!

Maybe too late to say this, but they made a huge mistake changing the format….all the problems like people leaving the site, has started since then…I stopped playing bigseagames community for the reason that it wasn’t as much fun as it was in the old format. Lots of loading problems as well and disconnections. If they can turn the old site back….I am defo sure that people will get back to the games as it was……

88 limejelly September 8, 2010 at 11:16 pm

I really miss Big Sea Games, please DO OPEN IT BACK.

Thanks Lure, for keeping us updated. And I can understand your frustration with people who think that this fan site is related to BigSeaGames. This is a fan site people, don’t accuse Lure of being responsible for BSG’s decisions…like the ones above….DUH!

90 Bea September 10, 2010 at 12:23 pm

Not is only SAD..SAD..SAD that BSG IS GONE…but particularly, I don’t think it was a good ‘move” for BFG, many of my friends, and ME TOO, we don’t go to Big Fish Games anymore…meaning….unles they come up with something else for the community…they have lost many gamers that are going somewhere else..could they AT LEAST…have all the games from Big Sea Games vailable on Big Fish Games???? why not??…they where there before..right??..or those games were “retired”….COME ON BIG FISH….BE A MEN!!!..kidding….
There is ANYTHING BIG FISH FANS CAN DO?????

Thanks……..

Please Bring Games Back Thank you.

92 Bonitapf September 17, 2010 at 1:29 pm

I am going through serious Unwell Mel and Suits Me Canfield withdrawl. I miss them and the other Big Sea Games SO much and spend my evenings searching other game sites for games I might enjoy as much. Haven’t been back to Big Fish though, but I would if they put these games back on! :^(

93 knowfaith September 18, 2010 at 7:46 pm

help me I dont under stand what is going on. I miss my friends I miss bigfish slot. Going to face Book is not the same thing. I had friends from all over the world and now there gone. please bring them back

94 rob September 19, 2010 at 10:28 am

I once called those “friends” at BigSea as “fantasy friends” because most were just chat voices, unidentified in person as to race, sex, or real disposition. Now if you play these games on Facebook, you can compete against real family and freinds and keep out the riff-raff. In other words, it is much better now that BigSea sunk and Facebook took over.

95 Allison September 19, 2010 at 1:22 pm

You know, that’s really not fair. I LOVED BIG SEA GAMES! BRING IT BACK! Why did this happen so suddenly? It had the BEST GAMES EVER! There’s never going to be a website like that again! That’s just crazy. COME ON BRING IT BACK! I don’t go on Big Fish Games unless there is Big Sea Games, and Big Fish Games is going to lose a LOT of fans if this is going to continue. This is terrible. I hate this. Bring it back!
WE SHOULD MAKE A PETITION. BRING IT BACK! BRING IT BACK! BRING IT BACK!

96 lilbit3 September 19, 2010 at 6:47 pm

of all the things to happen. you were the only place i could come to and play bingo after a very stressfull day at work. then when it caught on fire and i needed you most you just shut it down. my favorite game is bingo. i live in a very small town that has not recreation at all. we only had the bowling alley and since it burned i have nothing. the nearest town is an hour away. i’ve tried facebook games, the only thing facebook is good for is to chat with my family that i haven’t seen in years. now ith no income i can’t afford to pay for the online games. i miss all my friends and mostly my bingo. please help me find another website so my husband doesn’t put me in an institution for going crazy. someone PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! help me find a bingo website

97 Judith46 September 22, 2010 at 8:56 am

Big sea was a great site and I do miss it. It should have been taken out beta so that those waiting to join could have played. I would like to think that one day they will realise that closing it was a big mistake.

98 dbjean September 23, 2010 at 12:14 pm

I really miss all the online friends I made over the year at BSG. Facebook if not the same as the old site. I go to facebook everyday now and play for awhile but I hate it. Not too keen on Spigo but I may give them another try. Sure hope BSG finds no one likes the new facebook game site and goes back to their old site. At this point, I would gladly pay to play.
Lure, thank you for providing us all space to voice our frustration and your continued support for the fans of bsg.
