I have never understood this. I’m at level 75. Some of the wheels are at 3 for the lowest one and some are higher. 7 I think. It seems the game I was in when it said gold was more that the 3 increased.
And Lure, did you find anything out about the email I sent you on the ranks in Plunder? They said it was right but sure doesn’t make sense to me. Now on 33 cook.
Karen: nothing to report on Plunder, but it does seem off to me too. If they say it’s right though, I guess it’s right…maybe.
The amount of gold on the reel payouts doesn’t change as you level, the bonuses are added in after. Some games just give more gold — there’s some info here:

More on bigfishgames.com – enough about treasure chest for those of us that don’t want to join facebook, twitter, etc.
Oh Sandy, I am so with you! Unfortunately, as you probably already know, Big Fish Games has stated they are not going to make any more changes or additions to Big Sea Games.

Since Picman’s explanation, in February it’s become increasingly clear they will be adding a lot of the BSG games to Treasure Quest and focusing development efforts from there. Because of this, there just isn’t any news to report about Big Sea Games anymore. The developers aren’t creating anything new, the community is slowly dying. I wish this weren’t the case, but seeing as the games on Treasure Quest are the same games we loved at Big Sea and the guides and hints we’ve shared here still apply, I’m going to continue to write about Treasure Quest.
I still scour the Big Sea Games forums for news, but I’ve been coming up empty-handed and the moderators seem to have gone to greener pastures.
I assure you, if there is ANY news at all about Big Sea Games I will post it as soon as I hear it.
I joined facebook but I didn’t use my name or put in any info. I blocked everyone from seeing anything. Only info they can get if they hacked is my email address, but you can always use a different email address. I didn’t think of that.
Totally agree with Karen, I did the same and am enjoying playing the games at Treasure Quest.
Long time since I’ve put anything here Lure – but I have a question for you . Bearing in mind all the major promises they made when they launched Big Sea and the state they have let that drift in to do you think any players can have any confidence that they will not “desert” their other games areas on Big Fish and treasure Quest?
Hi Charlie! Nice to see you again!
I honestly believe that Big Fish needed to turn a profit from their endeavors (who doesn’t, right?) and that’s why Big Sea failed — it was touted as a free game site and clearly whatever they had planned to do to make it profitable just didn’t pan out. I’m not sure if they had planned advertisers or micro-currency or piggy-backing it with BigFishGames.com profits, or if the technical problems they had were just insurmountable. Either way, Big Fish has abandoned Big Sea for money-making opportunities. BigFishGames.com has always been at the top of the casual game market, so that site will most likely stay around. As far as Treasure Quest goes (and the other FB ventures, Faunasphere, etc), it could fail to become profitable after a certain period of time just as much as any other FB app/game could. At that point it’d be a matter of overhead costs and how much traffic it’s sending to Big Fish Games that’s resulting in sales. I’ll admit the business side of things isn’t my top area of expertise, but I’ve been watching all of this pretty closely for the past few years.
I always hope that maybe someday the economic climate will be such that BFG can resurrect BSG and devote the resources to it to become successful. Sadly, though, I think instead of resurrecting it, they made the final decision to clone and transplant its vital organs into Treasure Quest. It’s kind of their little Facebook Frankenstein!
So, can we have confidence? No, but you know they’re trying. In the end, there’s nothing more that Big Fish wants than to have a project succeed. Big Sea clearly didn’t. Maybe Treasure Quest will. Fingers crossed for them.
Level 70 gets 5% off bottoms at all the stores.
Thanks Pix!
Hi Lure
well……………Paul/Picman has posted the bad news on the Big Sea Game site
http://forums.bigseagames.com/posts/list/0/5675.page#187687
Thanks for everything you have done to make gaming at Big Seas such a Great Experience!
I agree TQ is sort of a Frankenstein and as they have posted nothing new on the wall at Facebook – not sure TQ is going to last.
Good Luck in all you do Lure
itsme07: thanks — I’ll still be running this site as a TQ fan site while that lasts. I’ll make a formal post later, been having a rough time processing this information. :(
Hi Lure
Yes it is very hard news to fathom!
Good Luck and Again Many Thanks – I enjoy my time here as much as I enjoyed BSG.
Level 25 reward
You get 5% discount on all items in Casual Corner!
Thanks Celebrian!
Level 106- 5% discount on all Full Outfits purchased in any store.
Wow Lexandria, thanks! 106? I thought 100 was the cap. Did they raise it? Any idea what it’s up to now?
I hadn’t heard of a cap but at this point there must be other players near, at, or above the 100th level so perhaps it was raised.
I’m playing less now… curiosity to see what was in all the shops was an incentive. (The level 100 shop’s clothes are just as dreadful as all the rest.)
