Hi Facebook Treasure Quest fans!
I’m sure you’re wondering what this site is all about, since you got here via Facebook and/or a web search for one of the games in Treasure Quest on Facebook. Well, this site is a Big Sea Games fan site, full of information on all of the games at BigSeaGames.com, including seven of the games currently available on Treasure Quest at Facebook.
Both Big Sea Games and Treasure Quest are run by an awesome company called Big Fish Games; they also sell great casual download games, check them out if you get a chance. Big Sea Games is a casual game portal in its development/beta phase. It’s not currently open to the general public, and they are not currently accepting applications to their waiting list. Luckily for you, you can at least play seven of the Big Sea Games titles on Treasure Quest at Facebook.
There are eight games available to you on Treasure Quest, seven of which were originally (and still are) found at Big Sea Games. The exception is Daily Detective, which is compiled from scenes originally found in Hidden Object games produced by Big Fish Games. By popular demand, we are keeping an archive of the Daily Detective answers, updated every morning.
We’ve spent a lot of time collecting and providing hints and tips for a lot of the games, some pages on this site that might help you are listed below.

*Ignore the stuff on the ranks pages about ‘awards’, that’s a feature only available on Big Sea Games…for now. The links to “How to Play” aren’t available to the general public yet, so if you have any questions on how to play a particular game, use our search box on the right sidebar or just ask.
In the right sidebar of this site is a Categories dropdown — use that to find historical information about each of the games. There’s also a search box if you are looking for something in particular.
And don’t forget to Like/Follow us on Facebook!
Enjoy, and don’t hesitate to leave a comment to introduce yourself or ask any questions you may have. Welcome aboard!

Just an update:
“Unwell Mel is joining the Daily Detective in giving away an easy-to-earn Gold Spin every day! Solve a case in Daily Detective and complete the Daily Dose in Unwell Mel – each earns you a Gold Spin!”
I’ve also found it pretty easy to earn a Gold Spin in Fairway Solitaire (by finding a card) and Thunderbolt 21 (by winning?), although the payouts on these gold spins are much lower than the Daily Detective ones.
Speaking of Daily Detective, the answer archive is rockin’:

I looked and didn’t see this mentioned… there are rewards for reaching various experience levels in Treasure Quest.
There are more than the following but I didn’t think to record them all until I reached level 31. Maybe other players can fill in what I omitted?
Level 18- You get 10% more gold from Gold Spins from now on!
Level 31- You get 10% more gold from Treasure Chests from now on!
Level 34- You get a 5% discount on all Tops purchased in any store!
Level 37- You get 15% more gold from Gold Spins from now on!
These may be similar to what the “Coming Soon” Treasure Hunter Gear Store will be selling.
Lexandria: I’ve been waiting for the treasure hunter gear — I sure hope it adds % to gold spins and treasure chests and xp. I’m not really into my avatar, so I can’t imagine what else I’d spend my gold on. Thanks for the % info — I’ll make a dummy account this week and play up to level 18 and see if I can record what initial bonuses there are. :)
I haven’t been able to get the Daily Detective to load on Facebook since the first one that I did last week. Anyone else having this problem? I have no problem with the other games loading.
Cindy: several people have complained of this problem. Big Fish suggests you clear your cache to make sure you are getting the latest version of the game. Here’s the link they provided:

With that said, it doesn’t seem like that fixed the problem for a lot of people. If their suggestions at the page above don’t work, definitely contact customer support:

A lot of people are having problems with DD loading…it was suggested that I try Google Chrome or Firefox…that worked ONCE — still can’t get the game to load for me…and believe me I keep my computer uncluttered – except for all my BigFish games LOL!
Hey im having trouble sometimes with the game Daily dectective sometime the newspaper will load and most times i get a blank screen after the intro hopeing it will get better soon and also when i do play it it wont let me Type the answer
Thersesa: you’re not alone in having problems with Daily Detective. Big Fish/Big Sea is aware of the problem but as far as I know they haven’t offered a fix. You are probably best to contact customer support and report your specific problems.

What has happened to the creatures this week? Bownies, Gnomes, and Boggarts are almost the size of a Fairy or Wisp! Dryads & Trolls are 1/2 the size they used to be!!
I noticed this about 3 nights ago on FB’s Treasure Quest, and last night they seemed smaller than the night before. Thought maybe I had spent too much time online & my eyes were playing tricks on me. Today I went to bigseagames.com to play Riddle…YES, they were smaller on there as well!!!
What is going on?? Sometime they are so small that I can’t find them – even at night. I also noticed that I sometimes get a ‘bell’ when a Brownie appears on FB.
in the list of answers for the daily detective i didn’t see the answer to the case of the pilfering particle any help would be greatly appreciated
Rob: the answers are usually up by 9-10am EST — it looks like you just got to the puzzle too early. :) If you run into this problem again, just wait a bit to complete your puzzle and keep visiting this page for the daily update:

Lure -
I am really curious now! About 3 days ago, my rank in Riddle was
46-Gnome, and I ended with a score of 946k. Sunday I got 2 Fairie Kings, Unicorn, and Fairy Queen + other creatures (don’t remember if I got Red Queen too) ending with a score of 1,057, 000, but my rank never advanced. Last night before I began playing, I noticed my rank started out as 31-Brownie.
What am I missing here? Does it only go up to 46-Gnome? If so, why would it reset partially?

Please let someone know that Gridwords in L.O.B.E. has opening to a blank chalkboard recently. The only way to clear the screen was to ask for the solution. Of course you get an X, but you also could not open the treasure chest – which required playing Gridwords to open the chest.
jean75214: I think for both of your issues you’d need to contact Big Fish. I have heard of people having issues with their ranks disappearing, but at this point since TQ is still in beta it needs to be reported to Big Fish.

could use some help solving the case of the hind sight any help would be appreciated thanks in advance
Rob: aha, oops! Treasure Quest was so bugged out this morning I couldn’t get to Daily Detective at all when I first got online and I have been away all day since. The answer is up now. Thanks for bringing it to my attention and thanks for your patience! :)
I am stuck on a case file on daily detective, I solved it but i cant find the rose the file is The Case of the Calendar Crook can someone please help me and explain where the rose is? Thanks
Jayne: did you use the hint? You can click on the name of any item to get a little black and white photo of what the hidden object looks like. I only mention this because I didn’t figure it out for a few weeks.
If my memory serves me correctly (and it probably doesn’t), I vaguely remember a rose from the past few days that was upside down in the middle of the screen. Maybe someone else who hasn’t done the puzzle but wants to can go check it out and let us know? :)
