As promised (in Picman’s “formal explanation” forum post), Draddog has some exciting events in store to make our time at Big Sea Games more fun, and they’re starting this week! There are two notable events starting soon: one’s a daily trivia and the other is a lucky Valentine’s week.
Draddog’s Trivia will be an event where Draddog will spend 2 hours in the game rooms asking trivia questions and rewarding the first correct answer with a coupon code for a game from the Big Fish Games Game Collection. The news release states it’ll start “Tuesday, February 18″ so we’re not sure if that means Tuesday February 16 or Thursday February 18. Either way, there is more information on the schedule in the forums.
And from February 12 through 18th, Big Sea will be adjusting the jackpot spins in our favor! “While the Jackpot payouts are not going to change, your odds of getting a larger Jackpot are better. Some players will even hit the big Jackpot with all 7 letters!” So, if you’re into padding your token totals, that’ll be the week to play as much as you can.

Update: This week’s trivia schedule is as follows (turns out it was February 9, not 18th!):
Tuesday 02/09 – 1:00PM to 3:00PM
Wednesday 02/10 – 10:00AM to 12:00PM
Thursday 02/11 – 3:00PM to 5:00PM
Friday 02/12 – 2:00PM to 4:00PM
All times are PST and the event will take place in random game rooms. Categories for the trivia questions will be “general trivia, pop culture, and the like.”

Think the date is a complete foul up – as he has given schedules for this week inclding Tuseday 9th I think it is clear that is the starting date! lol
Very nice to see that the site is trying to please its players – long may it continue.
A thought for those who want to take part in the trivia – once it has started you can see what game draddog is in from his profile – this will have the same problems as friends in which room. BUT he is not going to want to go into a room with one player – I would suggest only rooms with at least 25 people in will be visited – many fewer to look through. Also by the time you jpin him in a game you will probably be too late – someone will have already answered but you can see the last three games he has been in which will help you anticipate where he is going next……
An update on Draddog’s trivia questions.
Judging by the first three quarters of an hour – he is going into a fairly full room, sitting there for 5-10 minutes, then asking the question
He then makes sure the winner knows how to collect the prize and moves on
THERE IS PLENTY OF TIME TO FIND HIM before he asks the question – I did not look for him in the first game he went to but found him at the 2nd attempt in the second game and 3rd attempt in the third, both times before he asked the question
The 2 questions I saw were both about popular US TV shows and got a number of quick answers (not all correct!)

The Jackpot feature is certainly in effect. On my second game in Canfield, not only did I win the game but got a 10,000,000 (Yes, thats TEN MILLION) Jackpot. Awesome!
The trivia questions are fun and people seem to be looking for them and enjoying them. its also a great way to try different games.
How can u look at Draddogs profile? I noticed when hes in a room u cant add him to friends your just able to look at his profile. I hope they fix the jackpot spinner. The most I ever got in riddle is 6,000 its getting me mad. Wish they would extend the chances in jackpot permenant
satcy if he is not in a room go to the forums (the community tab at the top of the game) then find a post he has made – the easiest way is to click on announcements then when you can see a posting he has made listed click on his name – his profile will open (you dont actually need the post open – seeing it in a list is enough, you just need to see his name to click on)
You can look at anyones profile from a post they have made in the same way
Definitely loving the loosening of the Jackpot Spinners — been getting hits of 4 or 5 letters frequently tonight and even got the entire Jackpot in team bingo! Now if we could only get Pogo to do the same thing with their spinners… :P

Ive noticed in Riddle my forest is more active but its with the low token critters lol. So far in jackpot I got 6,000 which is the highest I ever get :(
