went in and was effectively unable to play – game freezing – double and triple screens – launcher for pearls was sooooo stiff. will leave it a few days for them to iron out these glitches then try again
the lowest team token payouts i think i have ever seen.
they added some new items in the clam section :)

i like it tho i think — not a big difference but the changes are nice on the eyes.
I’m in and I’m moderately pleased. The plunger/launcher in the Fishinko round sucks, though. Mine gets stuck all the time.
Jakers: I read somewhere about why the token payout was going to be lower, but now I can’t remember where — or why they said it would be. In fact, now I can’t even remember if it was the team bonuses or the bonuses when someone else ranks up… brain fried.
b3achy is busy playing but she wanted me to add the bonuses for the top 10 are better than they used to be, though. :)

We have also added team bonuses to Big Fish Slots. Similar to the other games on Big Sea Games, when a player ranks up, they provide a team bonus to the entire room. As this team bonus affects your game score, we wanted to make sure that it was not a game changer – so team bonuses in Big Fish Slots are lower than other games. The higher your rank, however, the bigger the team bonus.

I can see what they mean – adding team bonuses of 200 each could drastically affect the team game but…. i am sure it would not be beyond the developers to have the same bonuses as other games -to ensure consistency and to add them direct to your total bypassing the game score.
I see this didn’t last long. Why don’t they tweak their site during the day when many of us are working instead of during prime time USA. I’ve had just about a gutful of this SLOW!!!!!!! SITE. I’ve been playing here for at least 2 years, was gone overseas (without internet connectivity) for 80+ days when they first introduced this new site. All the unicorns are gone, the TILES game is gone and all these solitaire games ARE BORING!! And they think anyone would pay to play at this site. THEY MUST BE NUTS.
Debbie: in their defense, they *did* tweak the site while many people were working — there was an almost four-hour maintenance period this morning and into the afternoon. Nuts or not, people pay because they have faith in Big Sea to bring back the quality of games and customer service that they paid for and loved with both Ion Thunder and Big Fish Games Community. My account is paid through next March — am I happy I’m paying for “beta”? Not really, but I am also not disappointed with the selection of games and the rapid progress they’ve already made.

Beside the obvious and predictable site problems that accompanied the launch, I am still disappointed in the new game. Lots of lag in game, and even when it runs at full speed, it seems like it is taking much longer for certain tasks (pieces to fall in 2nd game or board to clear in 1st game). As mentioned before, the plunger in the 3rd game is much different (and worse IMO), the scoreboard was inaccurate the entire time I played, and the scoreboard does not include enough space for your rank if there are more than 100 people in the room. Considering that there was nothing new added to the game, I am very disappointed in the result so far.
I just played for 4 hours, sorry Lure, I’m a Hudson Bay Dolphin–LOL.
I didn’t have any problems other than a little slow. That will change. I am very Happy to have it back and not have waited until complete perfection (no such animal). I even missed the Shark!! We had named him Bruce. Now, we even get an award after he bites us in the butt 50 times. I really like the addition of awards and my Rank was right where I left off, plus 2.5 Million tokies richer.
Just need a little time to adjust to the differences, I’m already “hooked” again!
I played for a short while as it kept freezing and had a busy evening planned. I really liked the clams being curved so the ball doesn’t fall out as well as the fact that the pegs can be captured as well. The second round took too long for fish to drop so not as many could be done as before. But even with all that i am HOOKED!!
I played for the first time today and really like it.
My game was not slow at all until I tried to change
rooms after a game. That was probably when the site
went down cause I couldn’t get any rooms to load.
But I am pleased with the game so far.
Lure, I’ve noticed a pattern to the bonuses for the top 10: the bonus for a certain position in the top 10 is 75% of the bonus for the position above it. For example, if the bonus for 1st place is 50,000, then the bonus for 2nd is 37,500, the bonus for 3rd is 28,125, and so on. This pattern has worked every time I’ve reached the end of a game.
I played for a couple hours last night and I thought it went really well! It took me some time to get used to the new graphics and the fact that the pegs can get caught in the clams but other than that I liked it!

Also, Baltic hall has been closed for some kind of maintenance and Big Sea Games is encouraging folks to use Caspian instead. This is only a temporary closure, it’ll be back soon.
I must say I am not pleased with the game at all. I was so looking forward to it and have been very disappointed in it. Also I went from Kraken 2 to Champ 1 which I really didn’t appreciate.
I am really pleased to see the return of Slots, played for a while last night and today, other than the gaming appearing to freeze once (not just for me but for all players) I did not experience any problems. I remember the old game was not completely bug free – it used to freeze on occasion. In the new game, I love the graphics, the swimming trunks in the third round and the fact my rank points accrue faster!
Yes, the game is too slow on all the rounds. In the first round the bubbles take too long to materialise after they have been cleared but I like the fact you can now see glimpses of all the creatures – it used to take me ages to find all the bits of the little fishes in the ‘L’ shape.
The second round does not appear to be too different except the fish are slower to drop (as previously mentioned by koalabear241).
I feel the third round has changed significantly; the pearls behave quite differently once they have been launched- in the old version, when multiple pearls were launched they would spread across the screen now they mostly remain bunched together but this could just be a case of me needing to get used to the launcher. Also in the previous game if I had managed to get a pearl in a shell just as the timer finished I would find the shell closed in the next round, in the new game the shell is open and empty in the following round.
Overall, I still love the game and am sure it will only get better!
Hi I agree about RD 3 plunger very hard to do. Also I played my first game got the 4,513 tokens for this session but under this game I had 791,052 and did not get those added on to my total amount of tokens for big sea and big fish combined.

Thought I would update my thoughts since I’ve had more time to play. After the site came back up last night, I was able to play several more games and did find some things I liked better than the old version. I am very pleased that Big Sea is tweaking the game based on feedback and/or known bugs and I hope this is a sign that they will continue to improve the game based on feedback. I just hope they get Baltic back online soon as us Baltic Dogs miss our room :(
i am a bit disheartened that when you level up the tokens dont count towards the game :(
Maybe it is just me, however I am NOT happy with the ” new & improved ” Game. It is very slow, I never seem to get to finish all 5 fish in round two before the time is up, yet I do not really get a high score. Times up and too bad.
Round three is by far the worse. There is not a way to make sure the pearls land where I aim. In fact they seem to have a mind of there own and even land in a clump away from where I had just shot a pearl. I always feel like it was an accident when I get all five clams. I sometimes get a pearl in a clam a few seconds before the end of the round but lose the pearl if the lid has not closed. And forget bouncing pearls off the wall, they just drop and never go in the end clams.
I really did look forward to slots return, however, I wish they had just left it alone. I miss the old game. Mike
I find bigfish slots to be hardly worth playing. It is freezing again, it is too hard to use the plunger on the third round. I am totally disappointed that when you chage ranks you do not get room credit for your team. I had problems before and now it is worse. There is not enough time to play each round because of the slowness of the entire game. I am totally disappointed in it and as of now, I will not play there. Much too frustrating to waste my time.
They have reduced token payouts to this putrid slots game like they have to the other games. Shape Shifter was once one of the most popular games at Bigfish, but now at Bigsea, they have reduced token payouts by 83% and is towards the bottom of games played for that reason. There is only one game here that readily pays out two million tokens a day while the others, including this globe mess of a game is hardly worth the time even if bored to death.

They’ve done an update today on Big Fish Slots to fix some of the ongoing problems. These changes fix problems in all three rounds, so if you’re interested, I recommend you read the latest:
