Great news, Big Fish Slots fans! It’ll be re-released next week. And that’s not all the good news:
* The ranks and tokens you earned in Big Fish Slots will be the same as they were on the old site. You’ll even be credited with enough tokens to jump to the appropriate rank the first time you play. (For those of you unfamiliar with the ranking system, each level and sub-level requires a certain amount of tokens to advance — all of the details are at the bottom of our Game Ranks page.)
* Speaking of ranks, Big Fish Slots is getting 4 more, so those of you who ranked out at Nessie 9 will have 4 more to advance through. And like the other games, Big Fish Slots will have 12 awards you can earn. (We’ll post the list of all 12 ranks and awards on our Game Ranks page as soon as they’re available.)
* All of the rooms you knew and loved will be back! You should have no difficulty meeting up with your friends whether you were a dolphin or a clownfish (or both)!

Er, they wrote all of the game ranks in that article. Unless you meant you’d post them on the game ranks page once the *game* is available, I don’t follow that second point in your post.

Going to be a long weekend…lol…looking forward to the release, that’s for sure!! I miss my Persian Catfish buddies!
b3achy: I never had a home on Big Fish Slots before (though I can tell you some of the dolphins looooooved this site and I spent a little time chatting with them from time to time), but I think I’m gonna come hang out with you when the game is released. :)

Aw Lure, you are too sweet…it’d be an honor if you’d grace our humble Persian Cats room…we’re pretty small, but a friendly bunch! I’ve got a couple friends from Dive that are planning on joining us too…so it’ll be a fun party!!
Anyone else who doesn’t have a home yet, is more than welcome to join us too…although there are so many great groups in this game…
FYI: It wasn’t mentioned at ALL in the news article, but Big Fish Slots will have 12 awards. There should be a news release early next week detailing all of that. :)

Margaret: not a clue. If it’s any indication (and it’s probably only grasping at straws to make this connection here, but) Dive was released on a
TuesdayWednesday.I never understood all the fuss about this game. I tried it once maybe twice but I didn’t like the intermission and waiting for others to take their turn. Having said that I’ll probably give it a whirl anyway and look forward to the tips you provide.
Um Lure, my friend, not to overstep my bounds, but Dive was actually released on 2 Sept (around 1 or 1:30pm BSG/Pacific time) – I had a personal forum post that day after playing the game. Just checked the calendar, it was a Wednesday. (Which was a trend we noticed during the initial beta testing, they tended to launch the games on Wednesdays.)
But have to admit, I hope they release this one earlier, and Tuesday would be a welcome release day for me. I think it would also give them an extra day to work out any kinks before the weekend. Fingers are crossed that it will be Tuesday… ;)
b3achy: aha, you’re right — I was looking at the wrong day on the calendar. I’ve been screwing up dates all over the place lately… :) I think we should all expect a late
FridayWednesday release that way we’re pleasantly surprised if it’s anything different. (This is mentality I’ve learned from years of following Pogo, they’re a little better now at not promising anything at all, but they would promise a release “coming this month” and it comes out on the last possible day of the month at the last possible minute of their work day.)Well, they have said all along by the end of the month…and Wednesday IS the last day of the month ;)
But I like the way you think…plan for the worst, but hope for the best…makes it a lot easier to manage expectations that way :)
b3achy: oh you’re right. I’m just going to hush now, especially about date-related things, at least for a few more months. :) *smacks brain*
Last few days of waiting…(drumming fingers)…trying to be patient…(whistling)…maybe I should go get all my housework done since come the release, I’ll likely be playing this game for hours and hours…not that I’m OCD or anything ;)
Hi Lure: Am anxiously awaiting the slots next week, along with several of me buds, and I really don’t want to be all “gloom and doom” here, but do you think when the Slots is released, the influx of all those people into the game may cause a crash to the site?
LouPupper: it’s a possibility, but let’s hope not. :) I’d like to think they’ve figured out most of the stability issues with the site and because there are only a limited number of people with access to the site I can’t imagine we’d bring everything to a crashing halt. I hope.
Also, just a reminder to always read the date on the posts — Big Fish Slots is actually coming THIS week now… Wednesday. :)
