A whole bunch of games are getting ‘awards’, which are in-game achievements you can earn and show off in your awards album. To see all of the awards you’ll be able to earn when the community redesign is launched, check out our Game Awards page.

Wow! These (and the awards for the other games as well), look awesome!!! I am really looking forward to Farm 51 upgrading to the to the new version Farm 52. I play Farm 51 a lot. I will be sorry to see my old farm go, as I have built it up and it runs well. But I am looking forward tothe new things in the newer version. Thanks for the huge bunch of info you shared with us all today Lure!! You rock! One question, do you happen to know if all our old tokens will remain as they are? I would sure hate to lose my stash. :)

As one of the lucky ones already playing Farm 52 you are in for a treat. From what I understand, they are going to bring your Farm 51 over so wherever you are when they do the transition is where you will be when you get to Farm 52. You will keep your tokens. We playing at the beta site lose all our tokens we earned at the beta site however, it is well worth it working out the bugs and fine tuning these games for everyone to enjoy.
That is really awesome to hear that Muchken! Thanks for passing the info along. Do we also keep out levels of skills? I am maxed out on all and would sure hate to start them all at the beginning since they are such a help. Thanks again for the information. I am really eager to play the new version of the game. And you are sure lucky to be able to play it already. Color me green with envy. :)
Debi: yeah, it looks like we’ll be able to keep our ranks/levels, farm, and whatnot from Farm51 when Farm52 goes live. Originally, I’d thought (wrongly) that since it was SO MUCH of an upgrade that they’d make us start over. However, it appears from messages on the beta site from developers that in ALL of the games we’ll be able to keep our rank progress and tokens from the current live site. (Beta users, of course, are “working for nothing” as any progress made, awards won, or tokens earned on the beta site will be erased when the old atlantis site is upgraded to the new. Don’t be envious!) Because of that, I’ve actually gone back and worked on Fairway Solitaire and Unwell Mel on the “old”/atlantis site, just so it’d be easier to get some of the more advanced achievements. I’m going to hit Farm51 pretty soon again, in order to spruce up my farm in prep for the new stuff. Yay!
Hey that is great news! Thanks Lure! And I think your idea to work to try and acheieve the harder awards later is a good one. I wil have another look at all the awards available for the games in the new upgrades and pick some to work toward now as well. It will make me feel like I am preparing for the new games, so the waiting won’t be so darn hard. :)
Thanks to Lure’s fan site I became aware of farm 51 and was instantly addicted. Unfortunately farm 52 on beta really bogs down my computer and I can’t play it for too long without getting frustrated. I really hope it’s just a beta issue and won’t carry over when the site goes live. There’s so many great additions to the game and I hope you all enjoy it!
EdC: it bogs down my computer too — I stopped using my laptop to play it because it was so slow. My desktop is better, but I can’t watch a video in another window while farming otherwise it crashes. I worry it will be a problem when the site goes live, too. I am 90% sure it’s been reported; pretty much every time I have a problem to report I find that someone else has beat me to it on the beta forums.

I hope this doesnt sound like a totally dumb question, but I have to ask,as I’ve never before played for badges or awards if you will,will the games be culmalative? In case I had to leave will the awards still be there when I returned,or would they be started over everyday,and if you leave game thats it?
Spitfire5349: they are cumulative, starting from the moment the new site is launched.
It is compeative, but the badges and stuff that u get for the badge I thing they will kepp track of them.I do other sites that have icons and badges. Thats how they do it. But this one maybe a little diffrent.

Does Farm 52 not run on Mac? It won’t load for me. Do you need a newer Intel?

Got kicked off Farm52 for playing too long. Now can’t get back on because it says I am already playing a game. Have signed off, logged out, closed web, shut down computer and restarted. No luck. Waiting to hear from customer support, but any suggestions?
