Riddle O'Day: May 2009 Riddles

by Lure on May 1, 2009

It’s that time again, May 2009 riddles are here! I’ll be working on the list this morning.

As I’m starting, I am having a sneaking suspicion that the riddles and answers for this month are exactly the same as May 2008.

If you find one that’s not from May 2008, please let me know in a comment below. Thanks!

I’ll update this post as I get more information — as with last month it seems that Big Fish Games is reusing the riddles from each month each year.

Thanks Roberta! That reinforces my suspicion — another from last May!

I have been getting all recycled riddles from last year (and less than spectacular chests)- hopefully BF is saving all the new riddles for the change-over. Please let it be soon- this is agonizing.

Hello Lure,
I’m wondering if there are any updates or progress on the new games and site? Havent heard anything in awhile? Will they put in some “teaser” items before a full release? I think that would be awesome if they did. I understand that you dont know the exact date of release, but any info is good, lol. Riddle O’Day and Team Bingo are some of my favorite games and it’s soooooo hard to wait, tho I know I must. Have a super day,!!!

Hi Spitfire! I’ve got nothing for you, sorry. There are still a lot of games that need to be ported over (if they’re planning to bring them all to the new site) and the new site isn’t exactly ready either. Time will tell.

lure, the new site HAS been improving leaps and bounds. I am not you, so I cannot tell, but I will take this opportunity to say they are on their way. Also, how can I add you to friends on the beta site, because I NEVER SEE YOU THERE!

peavyfan: on the beta site, I’m bigfishgamer_com. It’s true, I’m not on much, but I’m around enough to get spotted from time to time. On the live site, I am Lure.

I think BF would be fine with you talking about what you see, if I recall correctly the terminology was “talk about it with your friends”. Either way, I understand your hesitation.

If you’d like to email me at lure@bigfishgamer.com with anything you’d like covered in a post I’d be happy to put one together to share the new change(s).

I hear you and others talking about the Beta site where some have had the chance to play the new versions of games? Can you tell me what the difference is please. Also, what are the beneifts of the Beta site. I’ve been a paying member of ION for quite a few years, and would like to get the most bang for my buck. Thanks in advance for your help!

proudhockeymama: the beta is an invitation-only web site. As far as I know, Big Fish sends out invites from time to time to ALL members, paid and not. It’s one of those luck-of-the-draw things, so if you didn’t get an invitation yet, there’s a chance you might get one in a later round of invitations. However, it’s not all fun — sometimes the games are crashy and the site is slow and things don’t work as they’re supposed to.
