In our first post about Riddle O’Day’s upcoming redesign, we told you about some of the new creatures coming to the forest, a brownie, a dryad, and the fairy king. Now, thanks to our friend MzMunchken, we’ve got two more future creatures to show you, a troll and a shamrock!

As with any information posted on this site that refers to any FUTURE happenings at Big Fish Games: this is correct at the time of posting, but subject to change in the future. Since I’ve only been playing Big Fish games a little over a month, I’m not sure if this is a new creature, but I got a unicorn a couple days ago for 100,000 tokens. It was awesome!
Sandy: the unicorn is pretty awesome — and it’s been a part of Riddle O’Day since its inception last April (2008). These are creatures that will make their debut on the new ‘redesigned’ Riddle O’Day, which will launch with numerous redesigns of current games in the new community games portal, due out sometime in the future (nobody knows when). You can see information on what’s getting redesigned (and how it’ll look) by clicking on the Category selector in the right sidebar and finding “Coming Soon/Rumors” or clicking on the link to that at the top of each page. :)

Glad to see I’ll no longer feel as though I’m watching paint dry!! A couple of comments…
Shamrocks have THREE leaves. As you pointed out, the leaves form a triad. To the pagans of old, they represented the three elements, to Christians they represented the Trinity. I’m just glad the game is FINALLY getting some shamrocks!!!
Brownies are mischievious, but also helpful, particulary to over-burdened, hard-working folk decent enough to leave them offerings of food or practical items, such as scraps of cloth or buttons.
Where are the Banshees and Selkies????

Wish they would offer something different for tokens other than a contest to win more tokens. What are we to do with tokens? Maybe they could offer a discount on their games for so many tokens. I will not hold my breath on that one. Walmart will not take them. Could go to the local watering hole and cry over your beer about them. Then you would probably have the local police called for Public Intoxication. Guess I will just save them, maybe one day……..
I hve been plaiing this game since it come out a ear ago.I like the game douple things i would like to see.1 I have never gotten or even seen a unicon 2 have the other things come out more often.It would make the game more interesting gnome borgort unicon come out more

The new creatures look great. How often does the shamrock come…just once a day?

Pauline: just have patience. The new changes to Riddle O’Day will be released along with changes to everything about the site as it currently is. I’d say summer at the earliest, but that’s just a guess. :)
what about pixies for 50 tokens just a thought cant wait to see the changes

What to do with all those tokens? Try going to Big Fish’s Moola Boola where you can use your tokens to buy chances on winning various ammounts of money or BF downloadable games

Do you have to download anything to play the riddle of the day when new version comes out or will it run the same way it always has.?
Jo: it’ll be the same it always has. Things will look a little different, as you can see in the screenshots I’ve shown, but you won’t have to download anything. If you do, it’ll probably just be an upgrade to your Flash (which most computers already have installed).

I did not know about the new creatures – when is this suppose to happen. I heard there was suppose to be a new forest.
