Thunderbolt 21 Redesign

by Lure on December 18, 2008

Like Deuces Wilder, Suits Me Yukon and Suits Me TriPeaks; Thunderbolt 21 is getting a redesign too.

Here are some sneak peek screenshots for you to look over:

What do you think of these changes? For those of you who grew tired long ago of this game, will its new look inspire you to play again?

I just played the updated version of the game this morning for a few rounds and yes, there is still a jackpot spin. I don’t know how the ranks work yet; I played (and didn’t win) four hands and didn’t progress in rank, however I did get one jackpot spin. (You get a jackpot spin when you score 13 or better 21′s.)

There’s not a lot of documentation yet, but I think (and the screenshots back this up) that you just earn rank progress by just playing games, not winning.

how could the person above have play this new game if it is not yet available?
This is one of my favorites. If it is available, how does one access it?
Will there be a downloadable version of it?

Bonnie: The game isn’t available to the general public yet — it (along with several other games) is being beta tested by a select number of people, including myself.

As far as a download version, only Big Fish is going to know that answer. I’ve only seen the web-based games that are being redesigned for launch with a new Big Fish Games Game Community site in the future. And “the person above” is me; I run this site. :)

Thank you Lure. I appreciate your response. Sure would be nice if there was a downloadable version too. :-)
Looking forward to the updated version.

Lure,
I’m glad something new is coming to Bigfish, and can’t wait to play them but… Will there be any “new games” coming? Or are they all going to be redesigned “old games”? I love the Bigfish game site, the best on the web, but the games are becoming some what repetitive so any change is good. Thanks Lure for all the info for us gamers.

So far I haven’t noticed anything “new” and I’m still waiting to see the monkeys Katie mentioned.

Michelle: There are never *too* many games! Could you possibly give us any hints about your current project?

Katie: Um, no! Hehe. Well okay, do you like monkeys, ponies, that kind of thing? I can’t tell you much, but I may have used too many monkeys. Maybe I’ll sit and have a cup of tea and think about it.

Hey so when is this supposed to come into effect??…..the sooner the better love the new look and quite anxious to try it out….not that great of a player but hey practice does make perfect and after trying for almost 7 years now well……lets just say i will never be on cheater board lol…….Wildssssss

Never noticed this game before you showed the redesigns–I have no idea how people play so fast and win so big. Wildstuff is right practice makes perfect.
I am also with her in anxiously waiting for “the new” -as I play Tri-Peaks.
Any clues as to a time line?

I suspect it’s going to be a while. These redesigns appear to hinge upon the new community design, and so far less than 1/3 (by my rough estimate) of the games have been ported to the new framework. :(

Well ok Lure……..now how fair is this that Bigfish brings out the new looks and new games in sight to us and then makes us wait…how long?????……..get all us members excited for them and then what?????……wait wait wait…….why not wait until you know for sure that they will work properly then introduce them to the members….I am and have been an avid member here for several years…..and would at least not want to be excited about something that who knows when it will be available for viewing and playing of course….so a sort of time frame of these new games and or redesigned games would benefit us all I am sure….sorry needed to vent for myself and many of my friends on here…….thanks Wildsssssssss

I like the new Thunderbolt 21 design. They should have changed it a long time ago.
